DESCRIPTION:HCI Across Borders (HCIxB) is a global community of researchers
  who regularly participate in CHI. Last year\, we facilitated student part
 icipation in student design competitions. This year\, we plan to focus on 
 understanding and addressing the mentorship needs of early-career research
 ers.  We also plan to brainstorm opportunities to sustain volunteer-drive
 n HCIxB through their research\, practice\, and education. We will host a 
 hybrid 2-hour workshop for mentoring sessions and early career researchers
 .
